Thursday group – 30th June
Twenty five volunteers descended into the area north of “Princess Anne’s Plantation” which is just off Duncombe Terrace, to remove the old fencing. A few pictures taken during the morning.

Very busy! – Thursday conservation group 23rd June
We were split into 3 groups. Spreading wood chip opposite Northchurch Common Roping bracken on Berkhamsted Common Roping bracken on Aldbury Common There were 16 volunteers in total.

Thursday Group 2nd June
Although I didn’t make it (Rowan) I understand that there was more fence removal at the Frithsden Copse, some helped Emily to put up owl boxes and the rest of the volunteers tidied up round the monument where it was very muddy.

Off-road motorbikes
Off-road motorbikes have been seen in the Ashridge area recently and Lawrence Trowbridge has been informed. If you see any incidents, take details and report it to the Estate Office .

Litter on the Estate
An ongoing task. If you come across any fly tipping reply to this post and we will contact the estate office. The majority of litter is found in and around the car parks usually after a weekend or an event.
Digging up Daffodils
The Thursday group is currently digging up all the non native daffodils which shouldn’t have been planted. The bulbs will be sold at the plant fair Sun 15 May 2016. 11:00-16:00
